Labor Day Weekend

Paige calls Cara "Aunt Tara" because she can't make the soft "k" sound yet. Paige has requested a 'tar seat' for 'Aunt Tara's tar' so she can ride with her (in her fabulous Audi).

We're excited for the long weekend - we're shopping (mall), boating (twice), going to church (Paige LOVES it) and blowing as many bubbles as we can! Paige has no fear when riding on the boat and enjoys drinking as much river and lake water as possible.

Last night at horse riding lessons, Fritz got a cold chill and shook. It was the first time Paige lost her confidence (and her cool, by crying) with Fritz. The leaders made sure she was okay, but encouraged her to ride again quickly and she was even trotting within a few minutes. She mentioned it several times after we left lessons, but I think/hope she's continue to cherish riding.

Paige has made some friends in Nick's neighborhood. Molly lives across the street and Paige insists on giving her a hug everytime we see her (Molly is about 9 and goes to Utica school). Last night, Molly was with several of her friends and they gave Paige lots of attention as they played on their bicycles. They seemed like great kids!

She's doing well in her new three-year-old class with Miss Jessica, but everyday she asks to see Miss Amanda. Miss Jessica is more strict (read: actually has rules) and expects Paige to listen (Miss Amanda, God love her, was pretty slack). So Paige is learning a lot (colors), but is not taking to this whole idea of obedience. :-)
